By request we are re-showcasing this event.
Straight off the mailman’s truck from Kickstarter, the C.H.I.P. $9 computer is in, and will be on display at Ct hackerspace. If we can find the right monitor, we will also hook it up for a test run.
C.H.I.P. uses the ARMv7 architecture. C.H.I.P. can also be powered using a Lithium Polymer battery and has built-in charging circuitry. Instead of a flash memory, C.H.I.P. has onboard 4GB of NAND flash storage, and ships with an operating system preloaded in the memory. The C.H.I.P. offers two rows of 40-pin female headers for I/O. One of the biggest advantages of the C.H.I.P. is built-in Wi-Fi and BLE that makes it easier to run right out of the box.
The chip ships with composite video output through the TRRS jack. (HDMI solutions to follow soon)
Stop by and be one the first people in the world to see it tonight!
